Privacy Policy
The short version
- The NMAM app collects nothing. Your calendar is read on your device and never leaves it. There is no account, no server, and no analytics inside the app.
- This website uses Google Analytics in a cookies-off-by-default configuration, to count visits in aggregate.
- We never sell data — in the app's case, because we never have it.
The NMAM app
NMAM asks your operating system for read-only access to your calendar so it can schedule alarms before your meetings. That reading happens entirely on your device. Meeting titles, times, attendees, and join links are used locally to build alarms and are stored only in the app's own on-device storage.
- No transmission. The app has no server and sends your calendar data nowhere.
- No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no identifier tied to you.
- No analytics or tracking inside the app. No third-party SDKs observe your behaviour.
- Notifications/alarm permissions are used solely to ring alarms you configured.
- Purchases, when available, are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive no card details; the stores handle payment under their own privacy policies.
- Deleting the app deletes its data. Everything NMAM stores lives on your device.
This website (nmam.app)
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they read. We run it with Google Consent Mode with all consent signals defaulted to "denied": no analytics cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are stored. In this mode Google receives limited, cookieless pings that it uses for aggregate modelling. Your IP address is processed to route the request but analytics reporting is not built on stored identifiers.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and operations, retained briefly and reviewed only when something breaks.
If you email [email protected] — including "notify me" requests — we keep the email to reply to it and, if you asked to be notified, to send you one launch announcement. Ask at any time and we'll delete your address.
Children
NMAM is a productivity tool not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone — children included.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since the app holds your data only on your own device, exercising those rights there is literally in your hands. For anything website- or email-related, contact [email protected] and we'll do it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. We won't quietly weaken it; material changes will be flagged plainly at the top of this page.
